PREFACE

For years, Westeros has been ruled by powerful families with large sums of money and great numbers of men to back them. Now, a blood line of half Targaryen and half Bolton sits upon the iron throne. Their rule has been strong for years now, but pressures from the north, south, and even across the sea are beginning to press against the crown's plans.King Korbas has been recently crowned king, being liked by a majority of the land. Dorne isn’t too pleased to see the eldest son of the recently deceased King Vilon Targaryen-Bolton on the throne. A group of Essossi born people have come to Westeros to demand a place in their lands. The king isn’t too fond of this idea; allowing wild horsemen to ride across his lands. The rest of the noble houses of Westeros are beginning to her riled up.Tensions seem to be running high across all lands and houses, as something else has seemed to be tossed onto the pile of the king. A dragon egg has been uncovered from ruins, and now it’s in the hands of the crown. Kept away safe and sound, scared that it might hatch, scared that it won’t hatch. The public doesn’t know of this egg - and the king plans to keep it a secret as long as he’s able too.
